Now a bit about her personal life…

Where are you from? I was born and raised right here in Houston – Yes I am one of the rare, native Houstonians!

What is your family size? My husband, Chad, and I have a family of two, three, and four legged children. We have two wonderful daughters, Caroline (13) and Rebecca (10), who are very active in school and sports. We also have two dogs that we adopted from local rescue groups. One of our little dogs was injured before we adopted her, and she only has three legs. Claire, our three legged child, and Montey, our four legged child are also a very big part of our family.

Where did you attend HS? I graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School (a long time ago).

Will you share some interesting tidbits from your early years? I loved dancing and was extremely active in various dance/drill teams from the time I was eight years old all the way through college. I have always loved learning and mathematics was my favorite subject. In fact, I was often teased about being a “math nerd”. I loved anything that involved math and even competed in math competitions in both junior high and high school. So I have a collection of trophies and awards in both dancing and math.

What are your Hobbies/Interests? Currently, I spend a great deal of time with my children and their sports teams. However, I have done a couple of marathons (walking), love reading good books, and I’m always working on home decorating ideas. I also love to travel, and my husband and I want our girls to experience many countries and cultures as they grow.

Where did your attend college? I worked my way through school and attended Kilgore Junior College and then came home to Houston where I earned a Bachelor of Business-Finance Degree from U of H’s Bauer School of business in 1989. How do you make a difference? I am very passionate about helping others and am very active in our community where I frequently volunteer with my children’s school and sports activities. I am also a mentor with the University of Houston-Bauer School of Business, and I serve on a couple of charitable fund raising groups throughout the Houston area.

What would you like for us to know?I am thrilled to be a part of the PartnersInWealth team and I am looking forward to working with you.
