Creating a Legacy of Giving

Most people want to pass on something special to their children and grandchildren. Wouldn’t it be a heartwarming gift to instill your charitable values? Creating a legacy can be rewarding for you and your family. It provides a way for you to share your values with your children, and reminds them of how fortunate they are to have their health, their home and their basic necessities.

Please join us and bring your spouse, parents and a few friends for a wonderful lunch as we learn how to instill in our children and grandchildren a legacy of giving.

Passionate about teaching young people to be responsible and productive citizens, Michelle Shonbeck believes that serving others is fundamental to living a fulfilling life. She is a recognized leader in the importance of family and charitable giving and is committed to making a difference in our community.

You will leave with specific steps to put your plan into action, including:

  • Ideas on starting the conversation with your children and grandchildren about giving back
  • Importance of writing a family mission statement
  • Resources to help you identify causes your entire family can rally around
